Bib and blanket crochet pattern

I love making things for the little ones and creating a bib is an easy one that all of us can crochet. It is so fun to be able to make something unique whether it is a gift for someone or if it is for our own baby coming. The best is of course when what we make is really necessary and practical, and I think we all can agree that a bib belongs to one of the most necessary things we can have at home!

This is a PDF pattern that describes to you how to make this lovely little Baby Bib & Blanket Set.

This crochet pattern is easy, but very cute, it is featuring both a baby blanket and a baby bib.

The skill level for the pattern is from beginner to intermediate crocheter. If you are new to crochet, you should know that the pattern includes helpful photos.

Dolphin – Realistic amigurumi animal

dolphin amigurumi pattern  ………..

What is an Amigurumi?

Maybe someone wonders what an amigurumi is? I know I did because we do not have that word in my native language. Actually, I learned that the word amigurumi is coming from the Japanese language and means a crocheted or knitted small stuffed animals. Just like the one above or some of the thousands of other animal patterns that you can find.

I think all of us love stuffed animals since they give us such a lovely feeling. I do not know if I have got it all wrong, but one of the most popular gifts we give our little ones must be animals of various kinds. All children love small puppies, bears, cats etc, and we love to give it to them! So why not make a little animal yourself? If you have a crochet hook, some stashed yarn and just the basic knowledge of crochet you can make lovely, lovely projects!

Making an amigurumi can seem like a hard project but it does not need to be….if you chose smaller projects you can make them real quick.

 Funny and Creative Patterns:

I really love to be creative with crochet. You can make so many lovely things using only some left over yarn.  Many time we only think that crochet and yarn just can be used for clothes like hats and things but you can also use the art of crochet to make things for your home! Make pillows, curtains, coasters and more! Dare to make something that not anybody else has!

One way of making lovely things for your home is to go vintage…to make things that are both trendy and old-fashioned. Doilies are such things. Doilies are perfect if you want a touch of the past in your home! You can also make a smaller project like these cupcakes and ice cream amigurumi toys. I love them..make them and use them as toys, or do as my friend..make them and put on a plate in the kitchen…looks very inviting and homely!
